WebI've seen various reports of it working and not working (getting tumble/keyholes) I use 11.4gr for the berrys 220gr. My 8in barrel stabilizes it no problem. Around 950fps. You should be fine if you are around 1000fps. . I've been able to get 180gr bullets subsonic.

The max load on Hodgdon's site for a 230gr bullet is 11.3gr CFE BLK and 10.8 H4198, which makes me rethink upping the charge. But you're running 11.8 CFE BLK OK. Any ideas on what to try?
