Would appreciate the clarification - there might be a new reel out there I need to buy! The Chronarch 50Mg was discontinued years ago, but they are still very popular. WebDec 13, 2013 · Statistically, the tatula is more durable since it has an aluminum gear side side-plate and the Chronarch's gear side is graphite. I have held and used both reels, and the tatula feels more solid and durable in my hands. I would go with the 50e because of what quakenshake said: the spool is heavy (18g or 19g) on the tatula and holds a lot of line.

WebMay 17, 2024 · It was very much identical to the Curado 50e. I haven't grabbed a Curado K yet. Was hoping it would be offered in a 50 or 70 size so I am sort of holding out hope on that. With that said like the other posters I have a boatload of 50 sized reels. Core 50mg7, Alde 50mg7, Chronarch 50e, Cuardo 50e and a pair of Scorpion 1000xt reels.

The core's are nice as well but you still have alot more maintenance like with the CH50MG to keep the corrosion under control.
