WebMay 23, 2024 · I was lead to believe the upgrade from 3.6kW chargers to 7kW chargers contained more than a switch, you get a thicker cable and better rated fuse switch as part of the deal. So with that knowledge, I don't think it is safe to flip the dip switch inside your pod-point. The £750 probably includes ripping out the old cable and putting in a new cable.
