This book is somewhat basic by the standards of modern graduate economics courses, but is well written and organized, and touches on most of the important topics. Captain and Board 1 was GM Ray Keene, Board 2 was another mathematician, NIgel Kalton, who also died from heart failure, Board 3 was Nigel Holloway and Board 5 David Wilkinson, whom I once met in later years playing at a congress in Braintree.
